Users unable to sign-in to Twitter, company acknowledges outage
Twitter seems to be experiencing some outage issues, mostly for Android users. Android users have been logged out of Twitter and are unable to log back in. Scores of Android users got the notification that they have been logged out of the microblogging site due to “an authentication error” and they have been unable to log back in- not only from the mobile site but also from web browsers.

So far, the outage, which has got Twitter down for over 3 hours now, seems to have impacted only the Andriod and web users. The iOS mobile site seems to be working normally.

Twitter has acknowledged the issue. Its landing page on the browser reads “Twitter is currently down for maintenance”. A Twitter Status update a couple of hours back said- “Some users are currently having trouble signing in to twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve this.”
