Gone are the days when pattern and pins were the means to unlock your smartphone. It's Japan. It's Fujitsu. The electronics giant in the land of rising sun is introducing a high-tech smartphone next month that can be unlocked with your eye movement.

Just as fingerprint is saved by biometrics, the iris recognition technology saves and stores user's iris pattern. Accuracy of the iris recognition would increase every time the user uses the phone, Fujitsu has claimed.

The front camera with infrared do all the magic. IR LED light illuminates the eyes of the users and record the iris pattern. During the press demonstration in Tokyo, Kaoru Kato, chief executive of NTT Docomo confirmed a pizza with his eye movement.

The rising trend in iris recognition technology is the latest buzz in the tech world. Samsung has reportedly filed an iris scanning patent, while the Chinese phonemaker ZTE has unveiled a smartphone with eye-recognition technology at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year.
