Uber wants to ease your mid-week blues, by delivering Puppies

Yes, you heard it right. Controversy-courting cab service Uber is letting its passengers have their play time with little puppies today between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

“Here’s your perfect excuse for a break. For the first time in Delhi, we’re sending furry stress busters your way. It’s time to let those warm fuzzy feelings out because your Wednesday afternoon has never been more lovable,” the company said in its blog post.

Uber, which has been strutting in and out of bans in Delhi has brought this service after it piloted it in Pune. It has deployed dedicated fleets called PuppyMobiles, and has teamed up with Dogspot.in to get puppies on board. Interested users will have to go to the app between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. today, select the UBERPUPPIES option via the app, and wait to get shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates will then have an Uber cab picking them up. They’ll then be able to enjoy 15 minutes with the puppies.
