Tyler Cameron and fiancee Tate Madden reveal they are expecting their first baby during 'Dancing with the Stars' Dedication Night

Television personality Tyler Cameron and his fiancée Tate Madden have announced that they are going to be parents. Cameron, 33, and Madden, 33, revealed that they are expecting their first baby together. The pair shared the news during "Dancing with the Stars" Dedication Night on Tuesday (Oct. 20).

'I get to be a girl dad'

On "DWTS", Cameron and his pro dance partner Sharna Burgess performed a contemporary routine to Ed Sheeran's "Supermarket Flowers", dedicating the performance to mothers around the world. During the live show, Cameron and Madden announced that they are expecting a baby girl. "I get to be a girl dad. What a gift, what an opportunity," he said.


Separately speaking to the People magazine, Cameron and Madden said they were "so excited" to make an addition to their family. "It’s going to change everything in our lives," Cameron told the publication. "Our parents gave us a great life, and I want us to give this little baby an even greater life. Everything that we learn from our families [I want to] take the best of it and instill it into our kids," he added.

Cameron and Madden met in 2022

The couple said they had found out about the pregnancy shortly after they got engaged in August this year. Son after that, Cameron and Madden moved to Los Angeles as he was set to compete in season 35 of "Dancing with the Stars".

The pair shared that they wanted to reveal the big news on "Dancing with the Stars" Dedication Night. "We thought it would be a really amazing way to reveal the baby and celebrate the baby," Cameron said.

Cameron and Madden had met in 2022 when he was filming his home renovation show, "Going Home with Tyler Cameron", on which Madden worked as a photographer. The two made their relationship official in September 2024 with a video of them dancing, which Cameron posted to Instagram.

Cameron and Madden announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on August 15, with photos of his beach proposal in Little Palm Island, Florida. "Better late than never they say," Cameron captioned the post. Cameron and Madden also work together on home construction projects and own the brand TINKR.

"Dancing With The Stars" is a reality show where celebrities are paired with professional dancers to perform dances. The show airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on ABC and Disney+.
