Twitter’s latest update makes it easier for you to skip app recommendations
The new feature is available on iOS and will be featured on Android soon.

While the ‘Home’ feed is algorithmically served, the ‘Latest Tweets’ feed has a reverse chronological orientation. The new feature will make recent posts more visible and intuitive in the Latest feed.
“The Home and Latest timelines are now just a swipe away for everyone on iOS, and soon on Android and web. Tap the <sparkle> icon to pin (or unpin) the Latest timeline to your Home tab for easy access,” tweeted the social media platform.

According to TechCrunch.com, The latest development comes in the wake of the mounting regulatory pressure on tech firms on their algorithmic recommendations systems and the lack of transparency around their inner workings.
The Home and Lastest timelines were initially tested by Twitter in October 2021. The company decided to roll the feature considering the positive feedback it got.
