Mindless scrolling on social media platforms for hours together has become common for people of all ages. From one app to another, people spend a lot of time glued to the screens.

However, it's a different case for this particular grandpa, who recently spent 157 per cent extra screen time this week than the previous one. It turns out

A Twitter user, who holds a verified account on the social media platform with the name Max Palmer, shared a picture of his grandfather's week-on-week screen time on Tuesday. He captioned his post, "My grandpa's screen time is elite."


The device - named Leonard's iPhone - shows that the daily average screen time of Palmer's grandfather was nine whole minutes scrolling his device.

The bifurcation showed that he spent 31 minutes on productivity and finance-related activities, while his social and utilities screen time was mapped at 12 minutes and 11 minutes, respectively, for the entire week. The picture revealed that Leonard spent 23 minutes in one week checking his email.

Hours later, the real magic happened when the tweet caught the attention of none other than Twitter owner and the world's richest man - Elon Musk. An excited Palmer shared the screenshot of Musk's like. "This is crazy. The power of Elon Musk liking your tweet," he wrote in his caption.

After the Tesla founder's prestigious like, the tweet started doing the round on the platform. Palmer's post got more than 10.8 million views, 138.5K likes and numerous retweets.

People couldn't help but admire Leonard's unique approach to managing screen time. Many started decoding his screen time, while others requested Palmer to introduce Leonard to TikTok and Instagram Reels.
