Glassdoor’s 2014 list of 50 best places to work at is out. And Twitter has been left out of it.

Twitter, no more a ‘best place to work at’
Glassdoor’s 2014 list of 50 best places to work at is out. And Twitter has been left out of it. That Twitter didn’t make it, is in itself probably not that big a deal. But club this with the fact that the micro blogging website sat pretty at the number two spot just last year and you have a whole new perspective.

When ET Panache contacted Twitter’s India office for a response, we were told that the company does not comment on third party surveys. To be fair, Glassdoor does collect all its data on companies anonymously, often raising questions about the credibility of its “lists”

But what even Twitter may not be able to deny is that their company policies on openness and sharing are not exactly in line with the voice they’ve given this generation. For starters, the company shares no information about the geographical locations of its offices or even its number of employees. Time to change some?.
