TV Guide: Hollywood stars who make big bucks

The principal characters of The Big Bang Theory — Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki — just negotiated their new paycheques. They are now going to get almost $ one million per episode, almost three times what they make now, for all the upcoming episodes in seasons eight to ten along with increased ownership rights. While that is an enviable salary, they aren’t the only ones in this pay bracket. Here is a look at some others who make big money:

Cast of FRIENDS

They negotiated as a group—probably the f irst time that happened in Hollywood — and they stayed friends. The whole cast received $ one million per episode as remuneration for the last two seasons and syndication royalties from the fifth season. Could they be more cute?

Charlie Sheen

In the final year of his eight-year contract, Sheen reportedly made$1.8 million dollars per episode for his role in Two and a Half Men. Then came the meltdown. He was forced to leave and was replaced by pretty boy Ashton Kutcher



Ray Romano

Romano made $1.8 million per episode in the final season of the hit show, Everybody loves Raymond. The Emmy-award winning actor continues to receive a fat paycheque from the royalties of his show. Well, everybody continues to love Raymond.



Michael C Hall

He makes a sociopath look damn good. He was paid between $ 20 to 24 million for the last two seasons of Dexter, which is close to $ one million per episode. He made quite a killing off his character, pun intended.




Jerry Seinfeld

He earned $ one million per episode while the show was on air. Being the co-creator of the show, Seinfeld continues to make $400 million a year in syndication royalties. Who says stand-up comedy can’t be lucrative.
