When and where to watch Tu Yaa Main online
As per TimesNow report, Tu Yaa Main is expected to start streaming on Netflix from April 10, 2026. The platform has reportedly acquired the digital rights for the film, although an official confirmation from the makers or Netflix is still awaited. The timeline more or less fits the usual release pattern, with the film arriving on OTT roughly eight weeks after its theatrical debut. If the date holds, subscribers will be able to watch it without any additional cost once it goes live.
What the film is about
Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Tu Yaa Main is a survival thriller with a fairly unusual setup. The story follows two social media influencers who come from very different worlds. Shanaya Kapoor plays Avani, also known as Miss Vanity, while Adarsh Gourav appears as Maruti, or Aala Flowpara. What starts as a collaboration for content soon goes completely wrong. The two find themselves trapped in a deep, empty swimming pool, and to make things worse, there is a crocodile in there with them. The film then follows their attempt to survive the situation, which keeps getting more intense.
The movie is an official remake of the 2018 Thai film The Pool. However, the team has maintained that it has been adapted in its own way rather than being a frame-by-frame copy.
Shanaya Kapoor had revealed in an interview with Bollywood Hungama that she did not watch the original Thai film before shooting. She wanted to approach her performance without any preconceived ideas.
Cast, crew and production details
Apart from the lead pair, the film is backed by a known production team. It is produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma under Colour Yellow Productions, along with Vinod Bhanushali and Kamlesh Bhanushali of Bhanushali Studios Limited.Despite receiving some appreciation for performances, the film had a mixed run at the box office.
