Triumph plans to bring 6 new bikes to India by mid-2019
The line-up will be a mix of new and facelifts of the current models.

NEW DELHI: British superbike maker Triumph Motorcycles Wednesday said it plans to launch six new products in India by June next year.
The company, which has completed five years in India, also aims to grow its sales in the country by 10-12 per cent annually going ahead.
“Our aim is to further grow 10-12 per cent each year going forward. We are entering our sixth year in India with a very positive outlook and before June 2019, we plan to launch six new products,” Triumph Motorcycles India General Manager Shoeb Farooq said in a statement.
It would be a mix of new and facelifts of the current models, he added.
The company also intends to expand its sales network from the current 16 dealerships to 25 over the next 3-4 years, he said.
Whether it’s the resounding thump of the Bullet 350 or low-slung cafe racer design of the Continental GT, Royal Enfield has forever had a cult-like following all over the world.
Here we have four such custom-made motorcycles built by Bull City Customs, Inline3, TNT Motorcycles, and Bombay Customs in collaboration with Royal Enfield.

This 500 cc Classic Chrome, is the quintessential old-school bobber. The hard-tailed laid bare frame, ‘bobbed’ rear mudguard and spring loaded single seat hark back to the no-frills 40’s era of board track racing. The chromed-out peanut fuel tank and low slung handle bars clipped on to custom front forks make sure you’re as much at home on the roads as on the drag race track. Bull City Customs have also done away with the stock EFI (electronic-fuel-injection) in favour of the trusty old carburettor, so only you (no micro-chip tells you what to do) decide how fast that twist of the throttle takes you! The bobber also has a chain-oil tank, which protects the chain from dry spells on long rides.
He added that the spread and contribution from smaller towns is increasing and the company expects the tier II towns to propel the next leg of growth in the industry.
"India continues to be an important market for Triumph globally," he added.
The company sells 13 superbike models, including variants priced between Rs 7.7-22 lakh in India.
