Tech giant Apple has said it will differentiate more between the non-Pro and Pro models of iPhones. It told the non-Pro, and Pro models would significantly differ in hardware and price. The iPhone 15 will have its name changed and be called iPhone 15 Ultra. Just under a week after the iPhone 14's launch, rumors of the iPhone 15 are already doing rounds on the internet.

According to reports, Apple will rename the Apple iPhone 15 pro max to iPhone 15 Ultra. It might be Apple's new technique of differentiating between the top-end model and the Pro model. The only significant difference between the Pro Max and Pro variants is the size. The iPhone 11, 12, 13, and 14 have a smaller screen and battery than the Pro version. The storage, functionalities, and features are the same, which could be what will change in the future. Ming-Chi Kuo believes the difference between the iPhone Pro and standard models will significantly increase the shipment allocation and average selling price.

Apple non-pro vs pro

Apple has tried differentiating between the non-Pro and Pro versions in 2022, and some differences include the A16 Bionic chip and Dynamic Island. The differences could be more significant on the iPhone 15. Kuo also believes that Apple will increase the difference between the Pro and Pro Max to increase profit and sales. The argument strengthens the rumor of the name change to Ultra.
