Treasure trove! Save the date for Sakti Burman's exhibition of timeless art
Art lovers in Mumbai are in for a treat this month.

Lithography from 1960s and sketch books are some of the highlights of the 40-day exhibition. On display will be 300 of works, many of which were sourced from about 20 India-based collectors. A good number also came from the artist himself.
“Burman’s wife Maite Delteil has been an avid collector of all of his old sketch books and drawings. She has not thrown away anything. So, there was a treasure of stuff,” said Sangeeta Raghavan, director of the gallery which is organising the exhibit. Mark your calendars.
