Travel helps Asian Paints COO Amit Syngle stay curious
The wanderlust thrives on local cuisine when out of India.

“I travel a lot with my family and a lot, professionally as well,” said Syngle, speaking on the sidelines of a company event in Mumbai last week.
In fact, I landed in Mumbai this morning after visiting 10 cities — Oslo, Amsterdam and Madrid among other cities — in four days as part of a professional tour.
Travel keeps my curiosity of looking at new things alive and sharpens my understanding of what is happening around.” While out of the country, Syngle says he thrives on local cuisine.
“I never eat Indian food when I’m out. I try my best to sample new dishes all the time. So, travel and food are two things I embrace very strongly as personal hobbies,” he says.
