Travel geek Rahul Shankhwalker reveals what's next on his bucket list

For Rahul Shankhwalker, founding partner, Studio HBA, travel is all about enriching experiences and learning about local culture. His favourite destinations include New Orleans, Hungary and Douro Valley, Portugal.
He tells ETPanache, “I love New Orleans because it is culturally diverse and the culinary melting pot of USA. This last time I visited, I was enamoured by a rather dark, yet beautiful side of the city — the above-ground tombs. Hungary is raw and beautiful. And Douro Valley in Portugal is extremely cheerful and refreshing to visit.”
Shankhwalker is well-travelled but there are still a few things pending on his travel bucket list.
He says, “A trip to Antarctica on a cargo ship departing from South of Argentina is on my luxury bucket list. It sounds very exciting and adventurous. Another place I want to visit is South America. I have extensively read about it. It is a rich ecosystem of culture, cuisine and nature.”.
