Trailer of Thalapathy Vijay’s action extravaganza ‘GOAT’ to release on this date

The highly awaited trailer for Thalapathy Vijay's next film, 'GOAT,' is scheduled to premiere on August 17 at 5 p.m. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this action-packed thriller will make its theatrical debut on September 5.

‘GOAT,’ short for ‘Greatest of All Time,’ has already sparked considerable excitement among fans and within the film industry. On August 15, Venkat Prabhu, the director, took to X to announce the trailer release date, writing, "GET . SET . GOat. Buckle up.. #TheGoatTrailer is landing on your screens on August 17th, 5 PM (sic).” Earlier, Prabhu shared insights into the film's plot, explaining, “‘GOAT’ is a fictional story, but we've grounded it in reality. Vijay’s character and his core team belong to a Special Anti-Terrorist Squad, a division of RAW. Their past actions create problems in the present, and the film follows how they confront these challenges.”

‘GOAT’ marks the first collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay, Prabhudheva, and Prashanth, and features an extensive supporting cast including Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhari, Sneha, Laila, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, Yugendran, VTV Ganesh, and Aravind Akash.
