The overseas market also added to the film's earnings. On Day 7, Toxic collected ₹1.50 crore overseas, taking its international gross total to ₹40.75 crore. Combining domestic and overseas earnings, the film's worldwide gross collection has touched ₹315 crore within its first week of release.

Toxic sees massive opening at box office

The film had made headlines even before completing its first day in theatres. Toxic reportedly collected around ₹150 crore globally on its opening day, giving Yash one of the biggest starts of his career. The Hindi version emerged as a major contributor to the opening-day business. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that the film earned ₹55.40 crore net in Hindi on Day 1, making it the second-biggest Hindi opener of 2026.

The opening-day Hindi collections also surpassed the Day 1 performance of KGF: Chapter 2 in the Hindi market, highlighting Yash's growing popularity among audiences beyond Karnataka.

Strong performance across multiple languages

Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations LLP, Toxic was released simultaneously in multiple languages. The film was shot in both Kannada and English and later dubbed into Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

The multi-language release strategy has helped the film attract audiences across India and overseas markets. While the Kannada version has remained a major revenue driver, the Hindi version has also delivered significant collections, boosting the film's overall box office performance.

Star power drives audience interest

The film features Yash in a dual role as gangster Raya and his son Ticket. The actor's double performance has been one of the major talking points among moviegoers.

The cast also includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. Their presence, combined with large-scale action sequences and a gangster-drama backdrop, has helped the film generate strong audience interest.

Can Toxic sustain its pace?

With ₹315 crore already collected worldwide in seven days, the focus now shifts to the film's second-week performance. Industry observers will be watching whether Toxic can maintain momentum through the coming weekdays and weekends.

While reviews have been divided, the box office numbers indicate that audiences continue to turn up in large numbers. If the current trend continues, Toxic could soon move closer to the next major milestone in its theatrical run, strengthening its position among the highest-grossing Indian films of 2026 so far.
