Yash's comeback film Toxic will hit cinemas on August 26
While the movie’s name may be ‘Toxic’, Kannada superstar Yash’s upcoming film is safe from being box-office poison! As per a Mint report, the advance booking of the movie starring Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani and Tara Sutaria has displayed excellent results on day one. It has sold more than 12 lakh tickets within 24 hours of advance booking opening.

According to information provided by the box office tracking website Sacnilk.com, advance booking collections totalled Rs 11.92 crore, of which Rs 7.6 crore came from Karnataka alone. The movie's Day 1 advance booking gross, including blocked tickets, is Rs 21.98 crore. In addition to being Yash's first big-screen appearance in almost four years, the film opens in theatres on August 26.

As per information shared by Sacnilk, the demand for the film is limited not just to Karnataka but also stated as such as Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Odisha.

Most of the Kannada shows in Bengaluru for the release date are nearly filled, and the Hindi version is also quickly filling up, according to BookMyShow. Kerala and Delhi-NCR are seeing a similar trend. However, the software does not currently allow users to book tickets for Chennai. This might be the result of a staggered implementation, with regional centres like Chennai frequently updating their ticketing portals a little bit later.

The movie sold 84,915 tickets, excluding reserved seats, and made Rs 4.10 crore from 4,886 performances on Friday, mere hours after advance reservations went open. The advance booking gross, including reserved seats, was Rs 9.19 crore.
