About 4 years ago, Suniel Shetty opened the doors to Jahaan, much to the delight of fans, offering a home tour to Asian Paints’ ‘Where The Heart Is’ series. The home architecture draws inspiration from the lesser-known concept - biophilic design, an environmentally friendly approach, connecting people with nature by integrating natural elements like plants, water, sunlight, and raw materials directly into the building's structure and layout.


Inside Suniel Shetty’s home, towering trees pierce through the roof, a gushing, natural stream flows beneath the floors without obstruction, and an asymmetrical boulder, which happened to be in the place while the accommodation was being constructed, is surprisingly left untouched, allowing the rock to be a part of the home. How cool is that?

Everywhere the eyes wander, they will find multiple potted plants, creepers and a lush landscape that can offer your mind peace and tranquility, away from the bustling Mumbai city life. The earthy-toned colour theme, coated in red, brown, white, and green hues, is inspired by the natural surroundings.

High ceilings and expansive doors and windows allow plenty of natural light to flow in. Cozy, oversized sofas and traditional rural artifacts add warmth to the serene space.
