The three-hour-long event honoured some of the best of stage performances of plays and musicals on Broadway.

The 75th Tony Awards, held at Radio City Music Hall in New York, returned after an epidemic hiatus since June 2019.

After two difficult pandemic years, the three-hour-long webcasted event honoured some of the best of stage performances of plays and musicals on Broadway.


Stefano Massini and Ben Power's 'The Lehman Trilogy' - based on the rise and fall of the Lehman Brothers investment house - managed to earn the prestigious Best Play title. The Pulitzer Prize-winning musical 'A Strange Loop' bagged the Best Musical award.

Myles Frost won the Best Actor Award for his portrayal of the work-obsessed Michael Jackson in 'MJ'. Joaquina Kalukango took home the Best Actress award for her portrayal of a tough-minded 19th-century tavern owner in 'Paradise Square'.
