My sense of style is best defined as 'today'. Being understated and not screaming brands or colours, yet experimenting with new trends and styles.

Top five

The five items every man should have in his wardrobe is a pair of blue jeans, a white fitted shirt, tan brogues, a tan belt and a formal jacket.

Weekend picks

Weekends are usually spent with family and are relaxed. Hence, a pair of shorts and a tee fit the vibe.

Quick trip

Depending on the kind of place, dressing appropriately is paramount. For an impromptu weekend trip, I'd pack shorts, jeans and T-shirts.

Prized possession

That would be my wedding sherwani because of the memories attached to it. Also, the fact that it is one item that will remain in my wardrobe forever.

A good pair of cufflinks lends personality to the outfit.

I love quirky socks — they are fun and yet almost hidden.

Bad trend

I wish the trend of colourful shoes and trousers for men would tone down. It's too loud; almost as if you are screaming for attention
