To the rescue: Enrique Iglesias saves fan from security men at gig

LOS ANGELES: A female fan jumped on singing sensation Enrique Iglesias during a concert at the European Formula 1 Grand Prix event in Baku.

The devotee rushed to the stage to hand her idol a gift and as security guards moved in on her, the Latin singer, 41, waved them away and escorted the fan to the front of the stage, so she could return to her place in the crowd, reported E!Online.

In video footage of the fan encounter, posted online, Iglesias appears far from concerned as the girl jumps into his arms, wrapping her legs around his for a passionate hug.

As seven security men jump up onstage, the singer assures them he's safe and in no danger, as he continues to hug the stage invader. He then leads her to the side of the stage and urges her to return to the crowd.

As his fans gave him a standing ovation, Iglesias reminded them not to jump up onstage.
