Tim Cook and Sundar Pichai have dinner together, Silicon Valley can't stop obsessing over their picture

NEW DELHI: Apple and Google are not just rivals, they are also two of the most popular and talked-about companies in the technology world. But it seems that the two might be planning some kind of collaboration.

Tim Cook and Sundar Pichai, CEOs of Google and Apple respectively, were recently spotted having dinner together on Friday, March 10.

The two were captured eating together in Palo Alto, California, in a picture captured by a Facebook user.

Although nothing is known about what exactly Cook and Pichai discussed over the dinner, it's quite possible that the talks centered around some of the big issues being faced by the two companies. If we had to guess, we'd say the talks could've been related to the recent announcements made by the Trump administration regarding H1-B visas and immigration.




There could've been other things discussed between Cook and Pichai, including even one or more announcements in the near future.

Some reports have even gone so far to say that since both were spotted having wine, it could've been a meeting regarding something special.

Interestingly, both Tim Cook and Sundar Pichai have poked fun at each other in the past. Cook once called Google's Android 'toxic hell stew', while Pichai claimed that Android is more popular than iOS.
