For years, Tiger Woods has been chasing Jack Nicklaus's record of major titles. Woods has 14 big titles, while Nicklaus has 18. But there is one race in which the Tiger has closed in on the Golden Bear, as Nicklaus is known. And that is fishing.

In 1978, Nicklaus reeled in a 15-feet, 1,358-pound marlin near the Great Barrier Reef in Melbourne, wrestling with the fish for over four hours.

On December 30, his 42nd birthday, it was Woods's turn to flaunt a big catch — a cobia and an amberjack that he captured with spears. It wasn't an easy battle, going by the cuts and scratches on Woods's legs.
