Vanessa Trump, who was diagnosed with cancer six months ago in April, announced that she’s over it. Vanessa, the 48-year-old ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., said in a video shared to her eldest daughter Kai Trump’s Instagram account on Friday, October 23, that recent testing “came back clear,” and she’s “finally cancer free.”
“My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in April, so we thought we would share her story and how she was diagnosed and how she overcame it,” Kai, the 19-year-old golfer granddaughter of President Donald Trump, said in the 30-second video for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Vanessa, the mother of five, announced her breast cancer diagnosis on May 20 on Instagram. “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she wrote. “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”

“I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me,” she wrote, adding that she is “staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.”
Trump was married to the eldest child of Donald Trump and Ivana Trump from 2005 to 2018. The couple share five children: Kai, Donald, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11.
In March 2025, she announced her new relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods, who was very supportive of her cancer battle. After Vanessa’s cancer diagnosis, a source told Page Six that Woods, 50, had “been very supportive of Vanessa through all this and is really just focused on being there for her.”
