National Film Award
Bollywood actress Sridevi won the National Film Award for the best actress category two months after her death in 2018.
She was lauded for her performance in Ravi Udyawar's 'Mom' where she plays the character of an angry mother who avenges her daughter’s rape. The movie was her last film before her trip to Dubai on February 24.

Special Screening By I&B Ministry
In August 2018, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry organised a special screening of Sridevi's films on her 55th birth anniversary. Celebrating her career of five decades, the movies picked for the screened were considered as some of the finest performances.
While the first movie to screen was 'Mom', other films like 'Lamhe', 'Mr India', 'English Vinglish', 'Sadma' and 'Chandni' were screened at the Films Division Auditorium in New Delhi for two days.

In 2018, The late Bollywood actress received the TITAN Reginald F Lewis Film Icon Award at the Cannes Film Festival. The award traditionally celebrates women of the film industry all over the world and also salutes the multi-cultural impact on the world of cinema.
Director Subhash Ghai and producer Namrata Goyal accepted the award on behalf of Sridevi's family.

Ms Hawa Hawai Forever
Last year, on her birth anniversary, Singapore's Madame Tussauds unveiled a wax statue dedicated to Sridevi. The wax figure resembles Sridevi's look from her hit song, 'Hawa Hawai', from the 1987 movie 'Mr India', featuring Anil Kapoor.
