This young CEO played cricket with Ashwin & Dinesh Karthik - and learnt some life skills!

Having shared a dressing room with ace cricketers, one would assume that the nitty-gritty of the game is all that one would take back. Not for this CEO though.

Rohit Kuttappa was inspired by their work ethics too. Before taking up his two-wheeled passion, Kuttappa, the CEO of online portal ChooseMyBicycle, used to sweat it out on the cricket pitch for eight years, playing for the Tamil Nadu under-19 team. There, he played alongside cricketers like R Ashwin, Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay.

"I played alongside Ashwin for the state and I had the opportunity to play under Murali Vijay for Madras University, and under Dinesh Karthik while playing for junior state. The one thing that stood out with these guys was their hunger to keep getting better, game after game. This has inspired me immensely," he says.

Though Kuttappa has since hung up his cricketing boots, lessons from the game never get old. He adds, "Sport has been my greatest teacher. I think my current state of mind, and my ability to deal with any situation in business is purely because of the varied experiences in my cricketing career."
