This Rs 66,000 cream contains black diamonds from the cosmos

It all started when Dr Yanis Alexandrides just couldn't find the right cream to help his patients with post-surgical healing, or cosmonauts when they sought relief from extraterrestrial harsh conditions.

It seemed they had tried everything to the moon and back. That is, until they realised that space really had the answer.

The result was a new product line for Alexandrides's 111 Skin and priced at $1,095 (Rs 66,000), it's purportedly made from 'black diamonds' from the cosmos.

These celestial saviours aren't necessarily an active ingredient, but rather serve as a conduit — an absorber — which gets the skin to soak up all of the other goodness in this outer-worldly new offering.
