Ming-Chi Kuo, the noted Apple analyst recently predicted that the new earbuds will hit the markets in the fourth quarter. Another striking feature that is bound to make waves is the lossless audio support that may come along with the new Pro 2. The new earbuds will reportedly come in a sound-emitting charging case that can be useful in locating misplaced cases.

Besides, Kuo also believes that the new AirPods may support health management functions in the future.

What is Lossless audio?

Digitally downloaded songs are usually compressed as MP3 or AAC. This essentially means that the files have been squished to take lesser space in storage. Owing to the compressing, often the details of the audio are lost, hence its low resolution.

Although, not recognisable, but they may be far removed from the original audio, the uncompressed version. Now, Lossless is not uncompressed audio, rather it is a type of compressed audio that uses advantaged data compression algorithms. This process prevents any loss of detail during the compression.
