This burn victim uses 'power of makeup' to empower & inspire
20-year-old Shalom Nchom, aka Shalom Blac is now breaking the internet for her post showing her face half-made-up & half-all-natural.

#Makeupshaming - A counter campaign Now, Shalom is not only the toast of the Internet for her empowering message on self acceptance, but has unwittingly become the champion against those shaming the #ThePowerOfMakeup campaign. The shamers have their hashtag too #MakeupShaming. The shamers for their part argue that women who embrace make-up only do so to cover up their insecurities. And the jokes go as far as sharing a half-selfies of Mike Tyson while the other half is that of "Canadian chick in her 20s," along with a satirical post that read, "I'm tired of all the #MakeupShaming I've been seeing online lately and I wanted to weigh in on this important social issue."
#Transformations -nevermind the shamers Scroll down the #PowerOfMakeup thread and you will not only find burn victims, but also show some amazing transformations of transgenders and even some pretty cool effects ranging from whimsical to avant-garde. Recently , there was a series of vlogs that had women sit in front of the screen with one half of their faces made up to perfection and the other one revealing their natural skin with the`flaw' and then detail how they got the finished look. What gives this campaign an extra punch is the fact that these women are trying to negate the misconception that makeup is to hide insecurities. Rather, they want to highlight that they use makeup to flaunt the acceptance of oneself. To that, we say hallelujah! Share to Twitter
