This 18-yr-old entrepreneur makes a cool splash with a new summer collection, Ahaya

This new collection, from her online-only clothing brand 31 Labels, marks the 18-year-old’s debut in the world of haute couture.
Style Quotient
31 Labels, which launched on Friday, is a hotspot of uber-modern styles, ideal for Gen-Z women looking for smart, contemporary looks to elevate their everyday style quotient. Modern and stylish, the brand caters to a variety of women’s fashion needs with easy-on-the-pocket pricing.
“Fashion is de rigueur for today’s women. A style statement showcases your personality. The aim of 31 Labels is to make every woman look and feel confident,” said Gupta.
“Starting with a summer collection was a no-brainer for us as summer is the most creatively challenging season for designers. We need to incorporate style with comfort, class with swag, as well as integrate colour combos in harmony with the many myriad moods.”
Entrepreneurial Background
Gupta developed an early interest in the aesthetics of fashion while studying at Westminster Business School , London. After thoroughly researching the Indian market, she launched 31 Labels as an online-only brand and plans to branch out into physical retail outlets in the future.
Gupta inherited her sense of entrepreneurship and was deeply inspired by family entrepreneurs, Rajdip Gupta and Sandip Gupta.
