In this year, Aptar Beauty + Home will launch over half a dozen locally-designed and developed solutions in India and Southeast Asia.
Aptar Beauty + Home, a packaging solutions provider in India, has lined up over half a dozen product launches in 2019. This is in keeping with its growth and expansion plans, said Kanwal Tikoo, president, Aptar Group, India and Southeast Asia.
The company, whose revenue is driven by global technology platforms with local production, is targeting local design, development and manufacturing to satisfy the market needs.
“Think local, leverage global is our mantra. While our stock solutions across caps and closures and pumps and valves have outperformed the market, these locally-designed solutions will contribute to our growth and association with marketers,” Kanwal said at the recently conducted Aerosol Expo, where Aptar showcased its locally designed range.
The debutante at the expo was PACTO — a pocket-friendly spray pump designed for the Asian market, keeping in mind the young and globally aware youth of Asia. “The objective was to design a solution that would connect with the youth, and, at the same time, outperform in terms of aesthetics and functionality. Convenience and performance is the key for today’s consumers,” said Sukesh Sheth, director product development.
