The young & the restless: A peek at Jio ET Startup Awards

The Jio ET Startup Awards 2015 ceremony held in Bengaluru on Monday saw an inevitable dose of fashion and glamour. From the starry attendance, some stood out for their collected style sense or a fashion statement ingredient that added to the razzle-dazzle. Here is a quick pick.

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr came arm-in-arm with hotshot beau and Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel. A glance at the former Victoria’s Secret angel revealed Christian Louboutins shoes and a red Chloe shoulder bag. Asked the brand of her classic LWD, she requested a peep at the label. It was from London-based fashion label Preen by Thornton Bregazzi.

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah attended the function in traditional white attire. But it was his glitzy dial that caught the attention — his left wrist flaunted a diamondencrusted Hublot.


Evan Spiegel and Miranda Kerr looked loved up at the awards. With her arm linked through his and pointing her knee towards him, Miranda is telling the world that she’s all his. And with Evan’s possessive fingers wrapped around hers, he’s driving the point home.

Manasi Kirloskar, Executive Director of Kirloskar Systems, chose a sunny yellow Abu-Sandeep creation. Apparently, this was the first time the young heiress was donning yellow. She usually picking other vibrant colours for her wardrobe.

Shilpa Thakur, the eminent technology attorney, attended the awards ceremony with her fiancé Deepak Ravindran, the CEO of Lookup. Thakur wore a striking Nordstrom skirt, embellished with textured rosettes. Twins Akash and Isha Ambani went for a fun chic look. Akash looked dapper in a suit with a Madras check shirt and matching socks. But it was his double strap monk shoes in trendy tan that drew the most attention. Isha too took a detour from her signature classic style, accessorising her silk black culottes with strappy Jimmy Choo heels.
