The success of this 1971 Rajesh Khanna film left a 15-yr-old Anand Mahindra 'quite pleased'

Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra, an avid Twitter user, took to the micro-blogging site to celebrate 50 years of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 1971 film 'Anand'.

Mahindra shares his name with the film, that brought Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan together on the big screen.

Sharing a video post celebrating half a century since the film's release, Mahindra wrote, "I was 15. And, unsurprisingly, was quite pleased that a film with this name was a super hit..."



The timeless classic released on March 12 in 1971.
