The second coming: Ferrari is "very confident" of its new India partners
For Enrico Galliera, Senior VP, commercial and marketing, Ferrari

"When we agreed on these dates for the opening, I immediately said I want to be there. It is not a question of being confident; I am very confident. I spent a lot of time, personally, on the selection process and with my team to choose the partners. We received many applications from several potential partners. We have a process that brings them to a shortlist based on certain elements — financial stability, presence in the market, automotive experience, etc.

When we came to a final list, then came the most important part. Number one, their capability to represent the brand. Both Navnit (Motors, Mumbai) and Select (Cars, Delhi) have owners eager to represent Ferrari, not because of the business, but because of the image. The second point was the credibility they have in the market. We already had some clients in India. We asked them what they thought about these two as our partners. All of them were like, 'If you go with them, you won't have any problem'."
