'The Paradise' sets records for Nani: Special shows for public ahead of release. Checking timings and ticket prices

Telugu star Nani’s upcoming action thriller The Paradise is all set to hit the big screens on September 24, 2026. Ahead of its release, the movie has been allowed a big hike in ticket prices from the Telangana Home Department. The department also allowed a special screening of the movie on the day before its release on September 23. The tickets for this special screening have been priced at Rs 500 inclusive of GST. The revised rate for the tickets would be applicable for up to five shows per day during the permitted period. Advanced booking for the film has been opened.

Check Ticket Prices For Paradise

The revised ticket prices will remain in effect from September 24 to September 27. During this time, single-screen theatres can add Rs.48, including GST, to the regular ticket price. For multiplexes and special theatres, the allowed increase is Rs.95, including GST. The new prices were approved as part of a special discount plan for the movie, which was given when the film was first shown in cinemas.

The ticket price hike would be reduced from September 28 to October 3. During this second period single-screen theatres can charge an additional Rs 23 including GST, while multiplexes and special theatres can charge an additional Rs 45. The government approval also has some conditions that the production house and the involved theatres must follow.


As part of the approval, the production house Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas has been asked to contribute Rs 1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees Welfare Committee. Theatres showing the movie have also been told to play ads and messages that explain the bad effects of narcotics and drugs. In addition, messages about being aware of cybercrime must be shown as part of the requirements for getting approval.

Paradise About To Make Box-Office History?

According to a 123Telugu report, pre-sales for the Nani-starrer have apparently crossed the $800,000 mark! Domestic advance bookings are staying consistent, showing good numbers in main markets. Over 202,000 tickets were sold in just 24 hours on the ticketing website BookMyShow. This increase in sales within the home market shows a strong start on the domestic side too.

The Paradise is set in the 1980s in Hyderabad, where the Savari community struggle for emancipation and basic rights. The community in the film is rumoured to have been based on the real Shikari community, who moved from Rajasthan to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh around the time India gained independence. This Shikari group lived a nomadic lifestyle and didn't have some social and political rights. Later, the community was given OBC status, even though they had asked for SC/ST status. The film uses a different name for the community, but it still shows the same story about a group fighting for recognition.

The film marks the second collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela after the success of the 2023 film Dasara. The movie boasts of a stellar cast. Other than Nani, the movie also features actors such as Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu in pivotal roles. Veteran composer Anirudh Ravichander has composed songs for the film.

The Paradise will release in multiple languages across India - Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Spanish and English.
