The Nike Hyperdunk 2015 is inspired from the 'Back to the Future' shoes
Because 2015 in real life hasn’t caught up to 2015 in Back to the Future, we don’t quite have dreamy auto-lacing Nike shoes. But, what we do have are these slick new Nike Hyperdunk 2015 that totally look ripped from the future and were actually inspired by the Nike MAG from BTTF2.
The silhouette of the shoe and the higher than normal collar length clearly homages everyone’s favourite movie shoe though the fact that we still have to use our hands to lace them, brings us back to reality that the future isn’t here yet. We still have half a year though! Flexibility and support define the new Hyperdunk upper, led by four technical details born from athlete insight and exhaustive testing:

- Hyperfuse construction fuses lightweight textile with support skins to create a seamless, one-piece upper for lightweight durability and support.

- Flexible collar foam helps lock the foot in place, providing the support of a high-top with the feel of a low-top.

- Internal construction has mesh and foam, which stretch and conform to the foot for a comfortable fit.

- Nike Flywire technology wraps the foot for a dynamic feel and lockdown support perfected for basketball. Molded channels allow the Flywire cables to loosen and tighten with the natural motion of the foot.
