The Internet can't get over Kristen Stewart in 'Spencer' trailer; fans predict she'll ace award season

The much-awaited trailer of the Kristen Stewart-starrer 'Spencer' has dropped, and the Internet cannot stop gushing over the actress's portrayal of British royal.

From her accent to the outfits and iconic hairstyle, Stewart owns every frame of the two minute and 17 second trailer.

The upcoming biographical drama, directed by Pablo Larrain, reimagines the three days at Queen Elizabeth II’s Sandringham Estate when the beloved British royal decided to end her marriage with Prince Charles, essayed by Jack Farthing.


The trailer begins with Stewart driving to Sandringham Estate for the Christmas holidays.

A shot of her looking in the mirror and reminding herself, "Three days, that's it," masterfully captures the emotions Diana battled.

In another frame, she is advised to "stand very still and smile a lot."

A series of cuts show Stewart as Diana dancing, ripping off a pearl necklace, and also in her iconic wedding dress.

A powerful conclusion to the trailer shows her utter the words, "Will they kill me, do you think?"


Netizens can't get enough of the actress, and have taken to social media to laud her performance.

'Spencer', from Neon and Topic Studios, is scheduled to release in theatres on November 5.
