The 'Googley' prize Sanmay Ved received for spotting Google's security flaw
In October 2015, Google lost its domain name for 60 seconds to the MBA student and later gave him Rs 8 lakh as reward.

At the time, Ved revealed that, "in a very Googley way", the search giant had offered him a reward. He refused to divulge details about the reward amount "in the interest of protecting Google".
However, in a blog post outlining details about its Security Reward Program for the last year, Google has revealed the amount. That, and the "very Googley" way of determining the reward amount.
The company fixed the reward at $6,006.13. Turns out there is no particular math involved in the inclusion of the 13 cents in the final amount except perhaps, that it bears a close resemblance to the spelling of Google. This amount was later doubled when Ved shared that "it was never about money and asked that the money be donated to charity to the Art of Living India Foundation". The final reward amount is slightly over Rs 8 lakh ($12,012.26).
Ved wishes that the donation be used for the free school project run and managed by the Indian chapter of the Art of Living Foundation. However, as Ved has been in touch with the US chapter to execute his plans, there is no word on how and where the organisation decides to use the donation.
