I highly recommend the selfish gene by Richard Dawkings. It gives you an understanding of human behaviour. I have read several book on political philosophy, history, biographies, science and psychology.

Chef Chu's in Los Altos, California. The thought of the braised eggplant in garlic sauce and sichuan style string beans makes my mouth water.
