‘The boss is back!’: Amitabh Bachchan returns for ad shoot after injury, photographer gushes over actor's punctuality

Nothing, not even a broken rib or two, can keep you away from work when you love what you do!

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who suffered grievous injuries while shooting for the Prabhas-starrer ‘Project K’, has bounced back to work.

On April 5, the ‘Paa’ actor shot a commercial with celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker.


Gowariker took to Twitter and dropped some stunning pictures of the superstar from the sets, gushing about his punctuality and professionalism. “The Boss is back on set! Looking cooler and dapper than ever. Came 20 minutes before time... Finished 30 minutes before time... He’s just... no words @SrBachchan (sic)."
Many Bachchan fans flooded the comment section. One Twitter user wrote, “We all love you, sir, stay well.” Another commented, “Don is unstoppable and matchless,” referring to the 1978 Amitabh Bachchan-Zeenat Bachchan starrer. Another fan tweeted, “This is exactly the reason why our beloved @SrBachchan Sir, is the real boss.” Yet another ardent fan commented, “80 yrs old, young man !!! Standing TALL N MIGHTY. SHAHENSHAH for a reason.”
Earlier, in March, the ‘Deewar’ star wrote about getting back in front of the camera. He wrote that he decided to resume work, despite not healing completely. He wrote, “Off to work.. a few limps and slings apart .. but striding on..” He further added, “Work schedules have been done, and the charts start filling up again. To the joy of the ‘moi’ .. for there is no better pastime than work. Yes the rib and toe are in a state of revolt .. but revolts must be tendered with and a solution to be found .. and find we must ...(sic)”

The star was shooting an action sequence when he suffered some severe injuries. Later, he revealed he had injured rib cartilage and a muscle tear in his right rib cage.

‘Project K’ is an upcoming sci-fi film. Aside from Prabhas and Bachchan Sr., the Nag Ashwin directorial also marks the Telugu debut of Deepika Padukone. The film will also star Disha Patani.
