For viewers in India wondering about its digital debut, The Bluff is premiering on Amazon Prime Video today. Interestingly, instead of the usual midnight release, the platform has scheduled the film to stream at 1:30 PM, giving it an afternoon launch. The change in timing has surprised many fans who were expecting it to drop at 12 AM, but the revised schedule has only added to the anticipation.In a bid to reach a wider audience, the film will also be available in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Set in the late 19th-century Caribbean, the story revolves around Ercell Bodden, a former pirate trying to live a peaceful life. However, her past refuses to stay buried. When old enemies resurface and threaten her family, she is forced to return to the violent world she once escaped. What follows is a gripping tale of survival, betrayal and fierce maternal instinct.
Although the narrative unfolds in the Cayman Islands, the film was shot entirely in Australia. The production aims is to bring sweeping visuals with emotionally charged storytelling.
