My favourite kitchen appliance is a slow juicer. It's easy to work it and clean.And the content you get is the best. If I was an appliance, I would be a hand blender. It's tall, skinny and sexy.

In the kitchen, I want to be like Angelina Jolie in Mr & Mrs Smith. The way she uses the knife and appliances to express how she's feeling is too good. It's not so easy to do -everyone cannot be Angelina Jolie.

Men at work

Every man should know how to make tea- if you don't know that, shame on you. Secondly, knowing how to juice is a must because a lot of people avoid eating fruits but our bodies need all the fibre, hydration and vitamins. The third thing every man should know how to make is a grilled sandwich-butter, cheese, tomato, cucumber and onions. I love onions. And of course, a dash of chutney. I can eat everything, don't hate me.

Sexy cook

Besides Sanjeev Kapoor (laughs)? The sexiest man who has cooked dinner for me is actually Sanjeev Kapoor. I cook for myself mostly -and my mom cooks for me. Men only look at me and ask, “Can you cook?“ And I say, “Yeah, but don't make a habit of it.“

Salman Khan -I would love it if he cooked for me. I think he cooks. For me, a man with cooking skills is number one -brains and brawn come second and third respectively.

The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, but for a woman, it's still very much with diamonds and jewellery.

How to impress a woman

When a man cooks to impress a woman, he should keep it simple.Even something basic like a nice omelette can work. I feel that the best time to impress a woman is with breakfast. Street talk My favourite street food in Mumbai is pani puri and in New York, it is masala dosa.

Date night

What I would cook would depend on the guy coming over. I like lentils, chicken, lamb -I don't eat beef and pork, though I have tried it by mistake.It tasted yum (laughs).

Restaurant crazy

When I visit Mumbai , I make it a point to visit the Punjab Sweet House. Their samosas are great. For pani puri, I go to Khar. I want to do a pani puri tour of the city. Last night, I went to Gajalee where I had bombil and tandoori crab. I also really like Nido.
