Costing almost as much as the car itself (starting price: $229,100), the tiny clock has “the most complex of watch mechanisms”. It uses an electric motor to wind the watch. The motor will spin the clock around three times every 15 minutes. A button helps to spin the watch additionally.
The heart of this clock is the one-minute fl ying tourbillon that sits in a titanium cage which beats at 28,800 vph. Studded with eight large diamonds, the clock comes in solid gold, white or rose gold. The clock’s face can be dressed in black ebony or mother-of-pearl. If you can’t afford a dashboard clock so expensive, Bentley enthusiasts can also make do with a range of classic handmade Swiss watches in the car.
