The battle amongst members of Mafatlal family continues

The demise of Ajay Mafatlal, 60, of the Mafatlal Group of Companies on Saturday came as a shock to most. Ajay, who underwent a sex change operation a few years back, was in the news lately for being involved in the family's residential property-related legal battle against certain members of the Mafatlal family, especially with brother Atulya and his wife Sheetal.

Yasmin Valibhoy, who is also fighting a case of fraud against Sheetal and was friends with Ajay, insists that his passing away does not mean that his opponents can rest easy. "It's tragic that Ajay couldn't see the culmination of all his efforts to expose the dishonest and vicious actions of various members of the Mafatlal family. May his soul rest in peace knowing that we will continue his battle with more fervour than before," says Valibhoy.
