Mid-September is stacked with some exciting OTT drops across Hindi, Tamil, and English. From Aryan Khan’s much-awaited directorial debut with a satirical Bollywood drama, to Kajol stepping back into the courtroom in The Trial season 2, and even Michael B. Jordan battling vampires in Sinners—there’s plenty to binge. Add to that a Pixar animated adventure and some chilling Tamil thrillers, and this week’s releases promise to keep every kind of viewer hooked.

Elio (English Animated) – September 17 | JioHotstar

Pixar returns with Elio, a heartfelt sci-fi adventure about a boy who dreams of being among aliens—and actually gets his wish. Mistaken for Earth’s intergalactic ambassador, eleven-year-old Elio must navigate a crisis in the alien world while befriending the son of a powerful warlord. With voices from Yonas Kibreab, Zoe Saldaña, Jameela Jamil, and more, this colourful animated tale promises heart and humor.



The Ba***ds of Bollywood (Hindi) – September 18 | Netflix

Aryan Khan makes his directorial debut with this six-part satirical action drama that takes aim at the film industry itself. Starring Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, Lakshya, Mona Singh, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, and Gautami Kapoor, the series also boasts cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. Backed by Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and co-created with Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, the show follows an outsider’s rise in Bollywood. Netflix confirmed streaming begins September 18.

Sinners (English) – September 18 | JioHotstar

Set in the Mississippi Delta of 1932, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners mixes horror with history. Michael B. Jordan plays twin brothers who open a juke joint, only for their venture to turn bloody when vampires attack. With Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, and others in the cast, the film promises a dark, thrilling ride where music meets monsters.

House Mates (Tamil) – September 19 | ZEE5

T. Raja Vel’s House Mates blends family drama with supernatural chills. The story follows a young couple who buy an old apartment, only to realise it’s haunted. Starring Darshan, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Kaali Venkat, and Vinodhini, the film turns their dream home into a nightmare as eerie happenings unravel a sinister secret.

Indra (Tamil) – September 19 | SunNXT

Indra brings a tense serial-killer thriller to the screen. Starring Vasanth Ravi and Sunil, the film follows a suspended cop drowning in grief and alcohol after his wife is murdered. Left partially blind, he still sets out to track the ruthless killer. What begins as a manhunt soon flips into a deadly survival game.

The Trial season 2 (Hindi) – September 19 | JioHotstar

Kajol returns as lawyer Noyonika Sengupta in the second season of The Trial: Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha. The new chapter sees her estranged husband Rajiv attempting a political comeback, demanding her support even as she seeks a divorce. Meanwhile, her law firm faces its own shake-ups, with Sheeba Chaddha’s Malini Khanna fighting to hold her ground. Sonali Kulkarni joins as Narayani Dhole, a political rival unafraid to play dirty. Season 2 begins streaming September 19.
