The Thiruvananthapuram Congress MP believes that part of the pleasure of cricket is its records. And, he feels an unnecessary premature declaration cost the Aussie a shot at the world record.
In a series of tweets, the 63-year-old MP wrote, “David Warner scored 150+ in the 1st Test and followed it up with 335 not out in the 2nd. An unnecessary premature declaration cost him a shot at the world record. Pity. Part of the pleasure of cricket is its records.".
