Thanksgiving treat by Amy Sebes

The big American holiday Thanksgiving is here and the US Consul General for Mumbai, Thomas L Vajda, and his wife Amy Sebes are gearing up for the big dinner tonight. "Traditionally, we take turns going around the table, saying one thing that we're thankful for. One of my daughters is often thankful that she has books to read," Sebes says, "Since we are so fortunate to have so many good things in our lives, we go around the table many times".

And what's Thanksgiving without a feast? On the menu will be the traditional turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, and pumpkin pie. Sebes says, "We also serve a family dish made of apples, sweet potatoes and biscuits as well as chocolate creme pie. We eat leftovers for many days afterwards".
