During the weekend, the Tesla founder and CEO took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to reveal that the highly-anticipated fight will be streamed on the social media platform and all proceeds will go to charity.
The Meta Founder and CEO quickly interjected, "Shouldn't we use a more reliable platform that can raise money for charity?" He hinted at using his newly-launched app Threads - which is a Twitter lookalike - to live stream the match.
The uncertainty surrounding the fight's schedule has left fans eagerly awaiting confirmation.

Showing his eagerness, Zuckerberg said that he was ready to take on the tech magnate in a cage match, but Musk hasn't confirmed a date. He further suggested August 26 for the face-off.
"I'm ready today. I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn't confirmed. Not holding my breath... I love this sport and will continue competing with people who train no matter what happens here," he shared his Threads posts in his Instagram Stories.
Last week, Musk tested the live video feature on X and launched it too. In the video, he could be seen weightlifting.
Indirectly replying to the Facebook boss, the SpaceX CEO said that he was planning to get an MRI of his neck and upper back. He also said that he might have to undergo surgery before the fight happens. "Will know this week," he wrote.
When fans started picking sides, Musk decided to analyse the potential outcomes of the battle. He said that he will win it if the match is short, however, Zuckerberg is likely to have a winning advantage if it stretches for long as he has better endurance.
Musk said he was "up for a cage match." Zuckerberg immediately replied, "Send me the location". While Zuckerberg has been training Jiu-Jitsu for quite some time, Musk started recently.
