Terrible pictures were posted from my account by the hacker: Kumar Sangakkara

While the benefits of social media are immense, the flipside can be difficult to handle. The most recent celeb victim is one of the most influential cricketers in the world, Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara, whose retirement from cricket a few weeks ago was an emotional moment for sports lovers. Sangakkara, who recently left for England to participate in county cricket, had to face some harrowing moments when his Twitter account was hacked.

The cricketer spoke to us about his social networking woes. He said, "Some terrible pictures were posted from my account by a hacker. Luckily , my managers keep an eye out, so those pictures were quickly removed and the account was set right soon afterwards. But it was a terrible experience!"
