Teewe 2 Wireless Streaming Stick launched for Rs 2,399

The Teewe streaming dongle launched last year in India saw fantastic response from users. Now, Mango Man, the company behind Teewe has launched its second iteration called Teewe 2 priced at Rs 2,399.

Teewe 2 streaming stick comes in a compact design with an HDMI port to connect directly to any TV/projector. The company has improved the hardware and Teewe 2 now uses an improved WiFi chip (802.11b/g/n) for improved network speed and range. It weighs 34 grams and comes with a microUSB port for power. The streaming stick can output in full HD 1080p resolution. Hardware include a quad core GPU, dual Core processor and 1GB RAM.

Teewe 2 lets you stream any video content from any device ( iOS, Android, Windows Phone, MAC, Windows OS) to your TV wirelessly using your home WiFi network. A Chrome browser extension is also provided to stream video directly from any website to a connected TV.

Teewe 2 comes bundled with various user offers. Airtel broadband Users will get 20GB per month additional download for 3 months with Teewe 2. Users also get two months premium subscription to Eros Now’s video library on the Teewe app to stream content.

The device will be available exclusively on Amazon India. You can pre-order one today and it will start shipping from 25th May 2015.
